Microwave Research Group

The group has the expertise in the following areas: circuit and system design, microwave measurements, computer-aided design, EM simulation. Our equipment allows us to design and test circuits and small systems. We are proud to meet design criteria in new areas or areas with tough specifications, including robust design according to space or military specifications.

The group consists of four tenured faculty members

• Premysl Hudec - system design, circuit design
• Karel Hoffmann - circuit design, microwave measurements
• Milan Polivka - antenna design, EM simulation
• Zbynek Skvor - CAD, EM simulation, measurement methodology

and a variable number of talented master and PhD. students.

• WARNS - personal radar signal detector (antenna part designed by another party). In use, Czech Army.
